Thrilled with my new Amarr 2” R19 garage door from Skillman Doors. Bill’s team did a great job. This morning was below 10 Degrees outside but inside my garage was 48 degrees!!! I couldn’t believe it. Bill was easy to work with and presenting me with all of my options. I also had him install a battery backup garage door opener so I know I can get inside the garage even when the power goes out. Highly recommend !

Skillman Doors is your one stop shop for all your garage door needs. Bill Jr. is super nice and professional. We have a leaning garage and after living in our house for over three years, discovered that our door completely rotted out and needed to be replaced. Bill gave us a couple options during the quote including offering to straighten the entire garage! We opted to rebuilding the framing that would support the new door. He explained everything in easy to understand terms and walked us through the process. I am thrilled with how well he designed the support beams to allow for a level new garage door. It works like a charm now and the work is guaranteed for three years. Our old door wasn’t level and huge gaps allowed for drafts on windy days. The new door is level and is air tight. I had to go looking hard for spots of light shining through under the door and it was super small. I can’t sing their praises enough on how great the new door came out! I am so impressed with how knowledgeable Bill was with such an old structure. I would recommend calling Skillman for anything relating to garages. They are handy! Their expertise goes beyond just the garage door. Can’t thank them enough. My family has been using this company for over thirty years and everyone I know who uses them has their expectations exceeded. I most certainly did. Thank you!

Bill and his son are the best in the business. When I was shopping for garage openers for my house, I was referred to them. They came out, guided me on what I needed with what I wanted and installed it quickly. The attention to detail and the quality of install was top notch. Thank you guys for your great work at my house. Will never use another garage door company again.

Skillman installed our garage door for the previous homeowner in our current home. I called them to come check out our door because it wasn’t closing properly. They had a team out in under 24 hours and solved the problem within 20 minutes. The sensors were misaligned and not communicating. The techs were very friendly and explained everything to me. Very fair pricing too! I definitely recommend!

Had some trouble contacting the company by phone one day, but I'm so glad I tried again the next day. It was a pleasure working with Bill Jr, the owner, who was extremely knowledgeable, professional and ethical. Our garage door lift stopped lowering the door. Bill had it diagnosed as a travel module issue before my husband finished his short description of the issue and before assessing the lift himself. He was back after the weekend with the part and successfully fixed the issue. I appreciated the text and email appointment confirmations and real time arrival estimates by text. The email invoice was professional and easy to understand. We had received a vague quote from a company highly rated on Google. This other company's technician recommended replacing the whole lift system for almost $1000 more than the work Bill did. It didn't sound right to me, and the tech couldn't answer alot of my questions. So that's when we sought out Bill who installed our garage under the previous homeowners. We are thankful for our experience with Skillman
Doors and will certainly stick with them in the future. Thank you
